The genus linden or linden (Tilia) belongs to the linden family (Tiliaceae). Ancient documents do not yet mention its medicinal effects. However, the small-leaved linden, which spreads from Ireland to Western Siberia, and the symbols associated with it are part of the cultural history of Greek and Roman culture, the Germanic and Slavic peoples of Central Europe, and the Hungarians. In the 15th century, the linden tree was planted only for its decorative value, in the 16th and 17th centuries.
Our certificates from the year 2000 often mention the linden rope for hauling water, the linden rope, the chair made of linden bark, and the nyoszolya. The linden flower, which enchants everyone, owes its balsamic scent to the terpene farnesol found in its essential oil. Today, however, the linden tree is best known for the medicinal effect of its flowers.
